Isostatic rebound crumbles mountains to the sea
Peasants’ hands worn down to stumps as they clamber up the trees
Vaporising storm clouds, fire in the sky
Flee into the ocean, it’s the only place that’s dry

Release the wolves

Four forgotten angels, missing from their cloud
Tied up by their wings and displayed to the screaming crowd
Hurling bones of loved ones, no stones left to throw
Drag them to the tundra, and boil them in the snow
